"Brown Sugar" is the second full length studio album from Canadian blues and jazz vocalist Shakura S'Aida, released on April 13, 2010, on the Ruf Records label. Brown Sugar consisted largely of her own original compositions, co-written with her guitarist, Donna Grantis.
Working with producer Jim Gaines’ (Stevie Ray Vaughan, Santana) arrangements, S’Aida showcases sultry vocals that soar, howl, purr and soothe through rockers and soul ballads.
