Bert Nienhuis and Kees Tabak in 1983 went on tour with the group Doe Maar along places like Loosbroek, Goes, Assen Tiel and Joure, where veehallen, auction halls and gymnasiums were large enough to accommodate the thousands of fans. It was the year that the popularity of Doe Maar reached an unprecedented height, which the group could decide to stop performances and make records .... They shot thousands of photographs which were then printed only a few percent. Especially photographs which were then published not tell a quarter of a century later the story remained underexposed in 1983. They show not only the band on stage, but also the excitement and fun - and later amazement - in the makeshift dressing room in an auction, and not only did they let Ernst, Henny, Jan H. and John P. see but also the emotion, the joy, the craziness that incredible audience. Watch You can not avoid these photographs with double focus: 1983 from 2008. Joost Belinfante watched in 1983 as added band member already with some distance to the phenomenon Doe Maar. Twenty-five years later, he loves the fans of yesteryear with eight sharp and amusing stories (laughter) mirror again before. Inextricably with this book belongs to the double album Body body that was recorded during this tour. Hear Doe Maar.
