"My Longest Way Home" is the debut full length album by the German metalcore band "Any Given Day", self-released on the 17 January 2014. Any Given Day generate a mixture of driving metal-riffs, melodic hardcore, as well as atmospheric djent-parts of their very own and direct language. Singer Dennis Diehl combines powerful shouts with clean vocals and catchiness. Without any hidden political agenda the band puts the everyday life in the center of attention and turns the supposedly small subjects into big ones: "This definitely comes with a general anger that evolves in the course of life. Stress within the family or friends that turn into enemies, trouble with the boss or bad luck with love. The ordinary things that everyone of us has to deal with." Just metal.
