Album Description
Available in:
"Pair a Dice Found" is the sixth studio album by the American blues rock band Hot Tuna. Released in 1990 on the Epic label, It was their only album recorded for Epic Records.
It was their first studio album for nearly 15 years, since Hoppkorv in 1976.
Founding members Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady, backed with an all-new band, move away from the band's original acoustic blues and country roots into a slicker "more commercial and more pop-oriented sound" classic rock on tracks like "Love Gone Flat" and "Brand New Toy." However, covers of Mose Allison's "Parchman Farm" and Jesse Fuller's "San Francisco Bay Blues" are more in line with the original Hot Tuna sound.
