Universe, is the newest album from Truckfighters. This band gives expression to the feeling ‘Why haven’t I found this band ages ago? They are awesome!’ The new album is also a reflection of that feeling and it brings a fuzzy sound (word used by the band itself). This Swedish band has not only taste for good music but also for magnificent artwork, designed by Jerker Josefsson.
The videoclip of The Prophet will spin you around and leave you tangled. It’s beautiful, serene and rendered me completely relaxed. However the music on the album brings ups and downs. Most of the time a strong beginning each song and flowing into a slower pace, leaving room for the lyrics to intrude in your thoughts. Mastodont is +13 minutes long, but 13 minutes worth listening!
In short, the album is really good. If you have never heard of Truckfighters, you should definitely go check them out! They will also be touring Europe and the US this year! So do not miss the chance to see these Swedish boys live!
