Album DescriptionAvailable in:
And Then...Along Comes the Association was the first album by The Association. It was originally released on Valiant Records in July, 1966; subsequently, when Valiant was acquired by Warner Bros. Records, Warners reissued the album in June, 1967.
First pressings of the album contain, along the bottom of the front cover, the words "singing...along comes mary." Later that year, after the album's second single Cherish became a hit, Valiant changed the wording to "featuring CHERISH & ALONG COMES MARY." The latter was retained when Warner Brothers reissued the album in 1967. The CD cover uses the original wording.
