Jessy J’s style on Second Chances is definitely smooth jazz. Beginning with Track 1 “Listen 2 The Groove” with its sultry style all the way to Track 10 “Twice” you feel the music swirling around you and taking you for a relaxing ride.
Jessy J has taken the ten song album which features eight of her originals and two amazing covers, in Roberta Flacks “Feel Like Making Love” along with the great Sergio Mendes’ “Magalenha.”
This album truly is amazing. It’s Jessy’s starting over time. A time to rethink and rebuild. To learn from the past and yet let go. A chance to find herself within her music and present us as the listener with the end result.
Second Chances is a beautiful album. One worth adding to your collection.
