"In the Key of G" is Irish-English singer-songwriter Gilbert O'Sullivan's 9th studio album and was originally released in November 1989. The album has eight songs from the German release from two years earlier "Frobisher drive" with "I Will" and "forever wondering" being replaced with "gordon bennet" and "to the extreme". It also uses the same cover art as "Frobisher Drive"

Union Square Music re-released it in April 2013 on Salvo label in part of the "Gilbert O'Sullivan - A Singer And His Songs" collection.
