"The First Album" er debutalbumet til den tyske popduoen Modern Talking, utgitt den 1. april 1985 i Tyskland. Albumet inneholder to internasjonale hitlåter, «You're My Heart, You're My Soul» og «You Can Win If You Want», hvorav den førstnevnte toppet listene i flere land, inkludert hjemlandet Tyskland (hvor den holdt førsteplassen i hele seks uker), Sveits og Østerrike. «You're My Heart, You're My Soul» oppnådde topp-fem plassering i andre land som Frankrike, Norge og Sverige. Begge singlene solgte til gull i Tyskland med over 250 000 solgte eksemplarer.

The First Album, som ble utgitt av plateselskapet Hansa Records og distribuert av BMG Ariola, nådde toppen på salgslistene i Tyskland den 27. mai 1985.Albumet tilbragte fire uker på toppen, og hele 18 uker blant topp-ti, og solgte til platina i Tyskland med over 500 000 eksemplarer der alene.
