Nacido de un periodo de depresión y enfermedad física del propio Josh, el disco es su redención íntima.

Aquí el caos da paso a la melancolía. “I Sat by the Ocean”, “The Vampyre of Time and Memory” y “I Appear Missing” son canciones sobre fragilidad y autoconciencia. El tono es elegante, sombrío y profundamente emocional, con colaboraciones de Elton John, Alex Turner y Dave Grohl.
