Album DescriptionAvailable in:
Daugava is an album by Lars Winnerbäck, recorded in Ireland, which was released on 26 September 2007. The album is named after the river Daugava, which flows through Riga, a city that Lars Winnerbäck visited during the writing of the album. Eastern Europe has been a great inspiration for the lyrics, but the music you can hear clearly that it is Irish folk music that set the tone. Most of the albums musicians are not from Hovet, which otherwise had been his companion for a long time, even if Hovet-member Johan Persson involved. Album art for the album are made by Louise Enhörning.
