Album Description
Available in:
Get Fucked's self-titled effort for Level-Plane is an absolutely ridiculous 17 minutes of gutter-and-spike screamo, harnessing the splotches of white light left after a hard punch in the face and scraping the rust off the vicious hardcore riffs we grew up on. It'll ring your neck, you little twerp! Because life moves quicker today, Get Fucked gets faster than most humans can or should on "Tires, Tires, Globally" and the manic, marvelous "Recipe for Patio Pieces." The vocalist is indecipherable throughout, but his distorted squawk still tears at your soul. There is a moment a minute and a half into "Inside the 8lb. Dorm Fire" when a finger of bleating squelch lingers behind his fearsome roar. There's the briefest blank spot in the firestorm -- are those anvils falling from the black sky? -- before both song and singer erupt in a 30-second soundtrack to the end of life on earth. The glass is broken, the emergency has occurred, and Get Fucked is here to make your eyeballs bleed. Let the new Mesozoic begin.
