Scarred for Life es el tercer álbum de la banda, lanzado por Albert Productions y grabado en los estudios Albert, Sídney, en 1982.

Este trabajo llevó a Rose Tattoo a su punto de madurez: un sonido más limpio, pero igual de incendiario. El tema titular, junto a We Can’t Be Beaten y Juice on the Loose, son himnos de resistencia, celebraciones del dolor convertido en fuerza.

Fue también su álbum más exitoso fuera de Australia y el que cimentó su influencia en la escena hard rock internacional.
