Surfing with the Alien est le deuxième album du guitariste de rock instrumental Joe Satriani, sorti en 1987. Surfing with the Alien a grandement contribué à établir la réputation de Satriani en tant que guitariste de rock respecté.

Surfing with the Alien est l'un des albums les plus réussis de Satriani à ce jour. L'album lui a produit trois singles à succès: " Surfing with the Alien ", Satch Boogie " et le single radio " Always with Me, Always with You ".
