*Joy: A Holiday Collection* is the third studio album and first Christmas album by American singer-songwriter Jewel, released on 2 November 1999 on Atlantic Records. The single “Joy to the World”, released exclusively to radio, came out in November of the same year. Described as “a resolutely classic Christmas album, featuring all the traditional carols accompanied by strings and choirs”, the album was certified platinum in December 1999 and had sold 1,121,000 copies by October 2013.
