Skid Row ist eine amerikanische Heavy Metal Band, die 1986 in Toms River, New Jersey, gegründet wurde. Sie waren in den späten 1980er und frühen 1990er Jahren mit ihren ersten drei Multi-Platin-Alben sehr erfolgreich. In ihrer Blütezeit bestand die Band aus Sebastian Bach (Gesang), Dave "The Snake" Sabo (Gitarre), Scotti Hill (Gitarre),
Rachel Bolan (Bass) und Rob Affuso (Schlagzeug). Ab 2010 besteht die Band aus Sabo, Hill, Bolan, Johnny Solinger (Gesang) und Rob Hammersmith (Schlagzeug). Ende 1996 hatte die Band weltweit 20 Millionen Alben verkauft.
