Three Colors: White (Blanc: Bande Originale Du Film) is the soundtrack to the film Three Colors: White, the second in Kieslowski's trilogy exploring the themes of Freedom, Equality and Brotherhood. It stars Zbigniew Zamachowski as the divorced husband of Julie Delpy, whose plans for revenge against his ex-wife are ultimately foiled by his own humanity.
The soundtrack to Three Colours White is performed by The String Sextet and the Zbigniew Preisner Light Orchestra, directed by Zbigniew Paleta. The music was recorded by Rafal Paczkowski at Studio S4, Polish Radio, Warsaw and the soundtrack album was first released in 1994 on Virgin.
