"Edo no Temari Uta II" is the eleventh single (sixth major label single) released by °C-ute. The single was released in both limited and regular editions. The limited came with eight interchangeable covers, one of each member and one of the group. The limited edition and the first press of the regular edition came with a serial number card which, when entered in a lottery, could win a ticket to one of the single's launch events. The single reached #5 on the Oricon charts and charted for four weeks, selling 35,789 copies. The Single V reached #9 on the Oricon charts and charted for three weeks, selling 5,283 copies. The Event Vs were sold only during launch events, and only 100 copies of the Kurofune Version DVD were released to fan club members, and therefore they did not chart on the Oricon charts.
