Label Description
SBÄM Records is a music label founded in 2018 from Esternberg in Austria, which mainly has punk bands from Europe and the US under contract.
History
Stefan Beham made a name for himself in the punk scene under the label SBÄM as a graphic designer and designer of record covers, posters and tour posters. After Beham founded SBÄM Fest together with his wife in 2017, SBÄM Records also added his own label in 2018. Due to the Corona pandemic, Beham visibly increased his focus on his label, which means that people in Germany, Great Britain and the USA were already working for SBÄM in 2021.
After a loss of 600,000 euros was incurred at the Sbäm-Fest 2023 due to a lack of beverage sales, insolvency was filed as a consequence. The label, as well as the events such as SBÄM Fest and SBÄMOWEEN, will be continued by the newly founded company Longstocking Productions GmbH (Managing Director Birgit Beham).
