Re: ??? and // Windows can not use these in a file name..

Sorry the DB names must remain consistant with musicbrainz for the sync to work.

I would suggest simply creating NFO files for those Music Videos. I think it will work.

Re: Alan Vega - Wipeout Beat

Looking at the source Musicbrainz they also list it this way so I am hesitant to change it for now.

Re: Response format for empty strings

Ahh nice catch, I fixed this bug for Artists and Tracks years ago but looks like I forgot Albums.

All sorted now. They will return an empty string generally if the album has been edited. NULL if not.

Re: Details on hashing algorithm

Brilliant I would be very interested in your results. This approach was all about speed.

Python Sourcecode would be lovely if you end up with a working implementation :)

Re: MusicBrainz Picard plugin

Yep thats exactly the problem I had, it took may ages just to work out the debug box was incredibly useful :) I tried to copy the fanart.tv plugin but we have slight differences and I think the port 443 thing caught me out for a while too. I got all the way to having the cover downloaded but could n...

Re: MusicBrainz Picard plugin

No way... I tried to do this before and failed even though I know the python basics. I'd be very interested in looking at the code to see why my attempt didn't work. Is it on GitHub somewhere? So happy someone has managed to do this :) Thank you!! EDIT: Found it https://github.com/metabrai...
