Re: [Feature request] HTTPS everywhere!

Just to clarify things, this is not a firefox specific issue... If your browser already has a client certificate installed (some authentication services require one), opening TheAudioDB.com in that browser will prompt you to specify which certificate to use with the site, at which point you must pre...

Re: API broken since HTTPS implementation

My problem is not so much firefox as that standard Windows API functions for downloading a URL (e.g. InternetOpenUrl) are failing... (with ERROR_INTERNET_CLIENT_AUTH_CERT_NEEDED). I actually managed to get around this issue (see below), but I believe the work-around is actually causing extra server ...

API broken since HTTPS implementation

There are three issues I identified: 1. When trying to connect using "HTTPS" url and WinAPI (InternetOpenUrl), I get an "ERROR_INTERNET_CLIENT_AUTH_CERT_NEEDED" error. I think something is misconfigured server-side, why does the client need a certificate? 2. If I try to use http,...

Re: [Feature request] HTTPS everywhere!

Something is broken, when I try to connect to the website using firefox, it's showing me a certificate request dialog, if i select any certificate I already have in the browser it's giving me a 403 error.

If I select cancel on the certificate dialog then the website loads fine.

Re: Matching album names containing invalid file path characters

I can confirm the fix works, I implemented the code changes as part of the next Zoom Player release.

Re: Matching album names containing invalid file path characters

This still fails for me: http://www.theaudiodb.com/api/v1/json/{APIkey}/searchalbum.php?ss=REM&as=In%20Time%20The%20best%20of%20REM I'm guessing because it's incomplete. However, this also fails: http://www.theaudiodb.com/api/v1/json/{APIkey}/searchalbum.php?ss=REM&as=In%20Time%20The%20best%...

Re: Matching album names containing invalid file path characters

That's actually ok as the client (the player) will be stripping the same characters prior to querying the DB, from the user's point of view it will be transparent as they don't see the stripped strings.

And btw, the "×" isn't listed as one of the chars.
