Monrroe is the recording name of Elijah Symons, a British drum and bass producer and DJ known for a melodic, soulful sound that blends organic warmth with the high-energy intensity of the genre. He has since gone on to release some of the scene's most notable productions and was named winner of "Best Alternative Act" at the Drum & Bass Awards.

Symons grew up in the village of Stanway in Gloucestershire, near Cheltenham, spending time on traveller sites where his mother, an avid follower of the jungle scene, exposed him to 90s jungle and acid house. Hearing Logistics' "City Life" proved a turning point, sparking his love of liquid drum and bass. He began producing under the name Monrroe in 2013 while studying for a degree in Music Technology, quickly drawing attention from industry figures for atmospheric, eerily beautiful productions.

Monrroe's early releases appeared on labels including Liquicity, Galacy and RAM Records, before he signed to Shogun Audio. His output there has included collaborations such as "Out of Time" with Zara Kershaw and "Never Too Old" with Emily Makis, alongside darker tracks like "Warsaw" and "Nothing." Over time his sound matured from its liquid roots into a more diverse and weightier style, marked by deep, dark and techy production, while he also built a reputation as a live performer known for his 4-deck sets.

His forthcoming project is the six-track EP "IKEBANA," released on Shogun Audio, which spans both drum and bass and 140 and features collaborations with Duskee, Ayelle and Sparkz.
