THE APE represents the primitive sides of humanity. Thoughtless imitation, reactive hatred, the pull toward apathy and conformity. And at the same time: potential, growth, evolution. Revolution.

The journey from writhing in the mud, to crawling, standing, walking. THE APE is ideological war against fascism, totalitarianism, apathy and conformity. The project holds us accountable — ourselves, and those around us. THE APE blends driving hardcore, dark post-punk and electronic elements with more classic, grandiose rock. The band has few limitations in its musical expression, but the sound can bring to mind bands like The Armed, IDLES, Honningbarna, Birds in Row, MSPAINT and more.
