Artist Biography

ZAA is a Serbian band from Kruševac, drawing on ska and reggae roots with additional influences from jazz, dub and punk. The group originated in 2006 as Dub Orchestra before changing its lineup and adopting the name ZAA in 2008.

Under its new name, ZAA performed at a number of notable events, including the Exit Festival in 2008 and 2009, the ReggaeSerbia Festival in 2008 and 2009, and the Nektar Demofest, where the band placed third. The band's six members are vocalist Sanja Vučić, Jovan Blagojević on saxophone and melodica, guitarist Ivan Đokić, bassist Tomislav Ilić, drummer Zlatko Petković, and keyboardist Zoran Vasić.

ZAA released its debut album as a free online download on 13 January 2010, followed by a second album, Good Things, in mid-May 2011. Both releases have been made available for download through the band's official website.
