MAX RAD, born Max Radford, is a British producer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for self-produced electronica paired with heartfelt, emotionally direct lyricism. Emerging from London's electronic music scene, he has released a string of singles, a double EP titled Save Me from Myself, and a mixtape, Songs from Isolation, whose proceeds supported the NHS during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Raised in the rural town of Stroud, Gloucestershire, Radford began writing and recording songs at the age of six. He relocated to London in 2018, working from various spaces to establish himself as a producer, co-writer and mixer for other artists, including Faithless, Nathan Ball, Icarus, Laura Welsh, Havelock, DEVON and Elle Yaya.

For his own material, Radford often withdraws to the coast of Devon to write, seeking a quieter environment reminiscent of his childhood that allows him to explore more personal emotional territory. His music combines melancholic lyricism with upbeat electronic production, blending elements of R&B songwriting with squelching electronic textures. Songs from Isolation, released in April 2020, was recorded during the pandemic and its proceeds went toward supporting the NHS's COVID-19 response.
