Jimi Jules is a Swiss musician, DJ and producer based in Zurich, known for the 2014 house hit "Pushing On," a collaboration with German producer Oliver $ (also credited as Oliver Dollar). Released on Defected, the track topped the Beatport chart and reached number 15 on the UK Singles Chart.

Born in Lucerne to a Swiss father from a farming and musical family and a mother of Caribbean descent, Jules studied jazz trumpet and tuba before switching to vocals and music production at the Zurich University of the Arts. While there he fronted the live electro band Le Dompteur and began DJing at Zurich's Hive club, where he built a reputation despite a rocky start.

A chance meeting with Oliver $ at Hive led to a creative partnership; the pair collaborated in Oliver's Berlin studio, first releasing the Earl EP on Hive Audio before "Pushing On" became a European hit in 2014. The track's success led to a residency at Berlin's Watergate club and bookings including the Montreux Jazz Festival. Jules subsequently released a string of EPs and singles, including No Wishes (2015), Bogotá and Lost Love (2016), the album Equinox (2016), Midnight Juggernaut (2018), Karma Baby and Fool (2019), and Ham the Monkey and My City's On Fire (2021).
