Chaley Rose is an American actress and singer best known for her role as Zoey in the ABC drama series Nashville. She was born Chaley Rose Jackson on November 29, 1986, and raised in Columbus, Indiana, where she attended Central Middle School and Columbus East High School. There, she was a cheerleader, gymnast, and member of the track team, and became the school's first Black homecoming queen. She went on to graduate from Indiana University before studying acting in New York City and later relocating to Los Angeles.

Rose's music career developed alongside her acting work on Nashville, for which she contributed vocals to several of the show's official soundtrack releases. Her recordings include "Wayfaring Stranger" and a duet with Clare Bowen, "Come See About Me," on The Music of Nashville: Season 2, Volume 1 (2013), followed by "I Ain't Leavin' Without Your Love," "Hennessee," and "Carry You Home" on Volume 2 (2014). She also appeared on Christmas with Nashville (2014) performing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and, with the show's cast, "Celebrate Me Home." Further contributions followed on The Music of Nashville: Season 3, Volume 1 (2014), with "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World," and Season 4, Volume 1 (2015), with "Take My Hand, Precious Lord."
