Artist Biography
Available in:
Elipsa, real name Molly Foster, is a drum and bass producer, vocalist, songwriter, DJ and stage host from Somerset, England, now based in New Zealand. Note: another act using the same name, a Polish band blending pop, funk, rock and trip hop, is unrelated to the artist described here.

Foster began learning to produce music in her bedroom in 2018, initially posting her work on SoundCloud. A request for vocals on a friend's drum and bass track led to further collaborations with local producers, filling a gap for drum and bass vocalists in the scene at the time. She has since provided vocals for artists including Grafix, Annix and Fairfields, and released original material on labels such as UKF. Vocalist and MC Tali later became her manager, helping to launch her career in the wider music industry.

In 2023, Elipsa released "Shut It Down," a collaboration with drum and bass producer Mollie Collins issued on the DnB Allstars label, followed by "Night Rides" on UKF. Her combined DJ and live vocal performances have led to headline bookings at prominent New Zealand clubs and festivals, including Hide, Rhythm & Vines, Northern Bass, Bay Dreams and Homegrown, as well as her first UK/Europe tour, with shows at venues and festivals such as Lakota, Hospitality on the Beach and Funk Up The Farm.
