Carl Louis is a producer who grew up on the Nordic coastline and has worked across a range of electronic music styles over the course of his career. He first gained recognition as a member of the electronic duo CLMD, with whom he co-produced several notable releases, including "Stockholm Syndrome," which was certified multi-platinum in Norway and premiered on Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 show. Louis left CLMD in 2014 to pursue his own solo projects.

Following his departure from the duo, Louis spent several years producing singles for other artists, including ARY's debut single "Higher." In 2015 he released his own mini-album, "Telescope." He later released a full-length album, "Memory Lane," a mellotron-inspired work with a largely classical direction that drew on a range of contemporary influences. The album received positive reviews, radio airplay, and international blog coverage, including praise from Dancing Astronaut and Line of Best Fit.
