Artist Biography
Available in: gb icon
Flowidus are an Australian drum and bass duo consisting of Garo Wolf Tanzi and Raphael Henderson. The pair met at a drum and bass event in Perth in early 2015. Both had already established themselves as solo producers, Tanzi under the name Spillage and Henderson under the name Dealt Fairly, and after collaborating on several tracks under these names throughout 2015, they decided to form a joint project. Later that year they signed to Andy C's label RAM Records, marking the beginning of Flowidus.

Tanzi was born in Germany to parents who were both professional singers in Europe, and grew up surrounded by music, developing a particular interest in drums. After moving to Perth, he completed a Bachelor of Music while playing drums, then turned his focus to producing drum and bass as Spillage. He released music through labels including Technique Recordings, Fokuz (as Influenza), Soul Deep Recordings, and Good Karma Music, and received airplay on BBC Radio 1. His 2014 remix of Kate Kay Es's "Once You Did" gained over 500,000 views on YouTube, and he has supported acts such as Delta Heavy, DJ Hype, Tantrum Desire, Sigma, and Wilkinson.

Henderson, originally from New Zealand, relocated to Perth and produced under the name Dealt Fairly. One of his releases on Good Karma Music reached number 7 on the Beatport Top 10 Drum and Bass Releases chart in early 2015. He has supported artists including Wilkinson, Shockone, Brookes Brothers, Trei, and Tali and Phetsta. He has also maintained ties to the New Zealand drum and bass scene, notably contributing a remix of Tali's single "Faster Than Sound" for her album *Wolves*.

As Flowidus, the duo combine their individual production styles into a shared sound characterized by prominent basslines and melodic, dancefloor-oriented drum and bass.
