Ed Thomas is a London-based songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He began his career in 2010, recording his first credited work with the electronic duo Chase & Status.

Since then, Thomas has written and produced across a broad range of genres, including R&B/soul, rap, drum and bass, and house. His collaborators include Jorja Smith, Stormzy, Bryson Tiller, Amaarae, FKA twigs, Jayda G, Cat Burns, Maisie Peters, Ben Böhmer, and Nia Archives.

His compositions have collectively amassed over 1.5 billion streams.
