Rumours have long been circulating, all the way to the Tons of Rock office, that Jorun Stiansen together with Egil Furre have for a number of years been organising one of Norway's smallest and yet undeniably coolest festivals on the Southern Coast.

Løddepønk runs exclusively on bands from the grittier end of Norway's punk scene. We became curious enough that we simply had to send some spies down. And sure enough — Løddepunk delivered on all fronts!

What surprised us most was seeing Jorun herself on stage down there. She has clearly formed a band, and Koco Franco is the name.

Worth noting, sooner rather than later: with The Dogs as backing band, music is coming as early as this spring — and who would have thought she had a punk devil in her?

Those of us who have been to Løddepønk have been waiting for this for a couple of years now and are just as ready as Jorun!
