408 was formed with the intention of bringing back the early 2000s pop-punk sound. The name is a tribute to Orlando, specifically a "4-way" road with a view of the city skyline where founder Mark Faroudi experienced significant "coming of age" moments.

408 gained attention as a DIY act before signing a global record deal with Big Noise. They have worked with producer Andrew Wade (known for his work with A Day To Remember and Neck Deep) and have collaborated with artists such as Kellin Quinn (Sleeping With Sirens) and Taylor Acorn.
