Alongside her distinctive, soul-infused vocals, ELIA — artist and producer — creates modern neo-pop, blending elements of her Ethiopian roots, Nordic folk music, and electronica. She writes songs about life's ups and downs, addressing what it means to grow up as a young woman in a modern world.

With Ethiopian roots, ELIA was born and raised in Ski. She comes from a small family of strong female personalities, which has shaped individuality and feminism as core elements of her identity.

She has convinced many that she's an artist to watch, following the release of her debut EP Emasculate earlier this year. The EP's lead single, Love Me, became a breakthrough hit, immediately charting on NRK P3, where it remained for 40 weeks. Meanwhile, interest from the international industry has been steadily rising.

ELIA is establishing herself as a compelling live artist across festivals and club stages.
