Created by Geoffroy Jourdain, Les Cris de Paris mainly performs the vocal and instrumental repertoire from the beginning of the 16th century to the present day.
Their artistic approach reflects the richness and variety of the backgrounds of the artists who participate in their productions; there can be three or eighty, with among them composers, arrangers, actors, directors, instrumentalists, dancers, ensemble directors, choir directors, visual artists, sound creators, teachers...
Curious and passionate, they invest themselves with the same audacity in the rediscovery of little-known works as in the exploration of the potential of the voice within contemporary creation.
Their musical projects take place within the framework of concerts, performances, but also within stage productions combining several artistic forms (theatre, dance, reading, etc.).
