Billie Chedid, known professionally as billie, is a French singer born on May 1, 2002. The daughter of singer-songwriter Matthieu Chedid (better known by his stage name -M-) and director Céline Bary, she first gained public attention as a teenager while performing on stage alongside her father before embarking on a solo career.

In January 2025, she released her debut solo EP, j'avance, which earned critical acclaim for its unique sonic identity and artistic maturity. The music publication Les Oreilles Curieuses awarded the project a 7.5/10, praising her ability to blend dream-pop and post-punk with a distinct touch of French chanson.
