Arkitech, real name Richard Besgrove, is a hardcore and hardcore techno producer from London, UK. Beginning his production career in 2005 with 12" vinyl releases, Arkitech has become a prolific figure in the UK hardcore scene, working across freeform, hardcore, gabber, and related styles. His work spans BPM ranges from 155 to 200, characterizing his approach as high-energy rave music combining breakbeats, hard kicks, and atmospheric elements. Arkitech has also released work on the Bonkers label, collaborating with artists including Sharkey, Kevin Energy, and Odyssey.
Arkitech's most significant release is the album Strange Times, released in January 2022 through A-Tech Music, his own imprint. The album features 22 tracks blended into a cohesive album mix, with a digital package containing 17 full-length versions, 13 remixes, and bonus material for a total of 34 DJ-friendly tracks. Notable tracks from the album include "A God," "Shape Of The Future," "Beautiful Thing," "End Of Play," and "Experiment IV" (featuring vocalist Rhona), which reinterprets the Kate Bush composition of the same name with hardcore and techno production. The album's distinctive wooden CD packaging was handcrafted from FSC-certified birch plywood. Recent work includes collaborations with producer Mini Meowz on "Wh#rehead" (2025) for Bonkers, and a re-release of the freeform classic "Black Rain" with Sharkey and Odyssey in 2024.
