DJ Ham (real name Hamilton Dean) is a British happy hardcore and UK hardcore producer born in February 1976. Emerging as a key figure in the UK rave scene during the early 1990s, Ham initially played guitar and recorded songs but found the possibilities in hardcore music to be endless. Known for his dynamic production style and influential tracks, he became a respected figure in both the UK Hardcore and Happy Hardcore scenes with tracks that have energised dance floors around the globe.
Ham's career soared when he collaborated with fellow artists DJ Demo and Justin Time under the collective name "Just Another Label," producing tracks that would become anthems in the hardcore community. He has also worked extensively with DJ Brisk (Paul Nineham) as part of the Stimulant DJs for hard dance and as the duo Brisk & Ham for hardcore productions, having produced and remixed hundreds of tracks under various aliases. His tracks have appeared on major compilation series including Bonkers and Happy 2b Hardcore, cementing his status as a significant contributor to the UK hardcore scene. In recent years, DJ Ham has continued to evolve his sound while maintaining his core hardcore identity.
