Phantom Spell is a progressive rock project founded by musician Kyle McNeill (also of Seven Sisters). Conceived as an outlet for his love of classic ‘70s progressive rock and folk-inspired psychedelia, Phantom Spell blends intricate guitar work, vintage keyboard textures, and storytelling steeped in myth and imagination.

The music draws inspiration from pioneering acts such as Camel, Genesis, and Yes, but with a contemporary edge that makes it uniquely its own. Lyrical themes often explore the mystical, the allegorical, and the fantastical, creating immersive worlds where atmosphere and narrative go hand in hand.

Debuting with Immortal’s Requiem (2022), Phantom Spell quickly established a reputation for crafting cinematic soundscapes that honor the golden age of prog while charting a distinct creative path.
