Kentavia Tytiana Miller, known as KenTheMan, is an American rapper born on June 7, 1994, in Houston, Texas. Hailing from Houston’s South Park neighborhood, she grew up immersed in the Southern hip-hop scene, particularly influenced by the “chopped and screwed” style. Raised by a single mother alongside her siblings, she was inspired by artists like Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Houston legends such as UGK and Chamillionaire. As a teenager, she began writing poetry, which evolved into freestyles and raps shared on social media.

KenTheMan gained attention in 2018 with a viral freestyle over Roddy Ricch’s “The Box,” catching the eye of fans and industry insiders. Her breakthrough single, He Be Like (2019), marked her rise, followed by the EP 4 Da 304s (2020), showcasing her bold, confident, and sex-positive style. Her sharp flow and raw energy drew comparisons to Southern rap icons while establishing her unique voice. In 2021, she released her debut album, What’s My Name?, solidifying her presence with tracks like IDGAF and Rose Gold Stripper Pole. In 2022, she was selected for the prestigious XXL Freshman Class, a major milestone for rising hip-hop talents.

She continued to build her career with singles like Not My Nigga (2022) and collaborations with artists like 2 Chainz and Kaliii. In 2023, she dropped the album Back to 304, and in 2024, she announced her upcoming album PINK PATRON, set for release in 2025, with singles like Baddie. Known for her independent hustle, KenTheMan initially built her career without a major label, earning praise for her authentic, unapologetic voice in rap, particularly for representing women. In 2025, she remains a rising star in hip-hop, celebrated for her charisma, humor, and deep ties to Houston’s culture.
