Hailing from Houston’s South Park neighborhood, she grew up immersed in the Southern hip-hop scene, particularly influenced by the “chopped and screwed” style. Raised by a single mother alongside her siblings, she was inspired by artists like Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Houston legends such as UGK and Chamillionaire. As a teenager, she began writing poetry, which evolved into freestyles and raps shared on social media.
KenTheMan gained attention in 2018 with a viral freestyle over Roddy Ricch’s “The Box,” catching the eye of fans and industry insiders.
