Based in London, the classical/electronic crossover music duo consists of violonist Anna Phoebe and pianist Aisling Bouwer. Violist and composer from German and Irish origins, Anna Phoebe co-animated the Add to Playlist broadcast on BBC Radio 4, so Aisling Bouwer, of Dutch and Irish origin, is a composer here at the heart of original film and documentary bands, including White Riot and Lioness. The group premiered Ava between 2017 and 2020, as well as Avawaves, producing the albums Waves (2019), Chrysalis (2021), Savage Waters (2022) and Hearbeat (2025). The duo composed the music for the series The Buccaneers (2023).
