Omeretta The Great, born Amaria Williams on June 20, 1996, in Atlanta, Georgia, is an American-Jamaican rapper known for her hip-hop and trap style. Raised in Atlanta’s Zone 3, influenced by Missy Elliott, Lil’ Kim, Drake, and Future, she began writing as a child to cope with the loss of her father. She debuted with the mixtape Black Magic: A Dose of Reality (2016), followed by C2z3, Vol. 1 (2017) and Trapped (2018). Her first album, Welcome to the Jungle (2019), and singles like "Sorry Not Sorry" (2022) and "Emotional Gangsta" (2022) boosted her prominence in Atlanta’s hip-hop scene.
