The Stavanger-based band The Clumps has quickly become an underground powerhouse on the Norwegian rock scene. With their unique blend of alternative rock, grunge, and touches of post-grunge and shoegaze, they’ve created a sound that’s both raw and refreshing. Think sweaty club scenes in the early ’90s – nostalgia and the future in perfect harmony. Their album, CITIZENS, is a tribute to the ’90s, packed with killer tracks that really stick with you.

The Clumps began as a friendship between four musical souls, but has grown into one of Norway’s most promising new bands. They already won the 2024 Eggstock Festival, which opened doors to several major festival invitations. P3 Urørt has spotlighted the band, with three of their tracks recommended on the channel, including the critically acclaimed single “Citizens.” NRK P3 describes them as “the band you didn’t know you needed,” highlighting how their music manages to be both intense and deeply enjoyable.
