Mk.gee (Michael Todd Gordon, born September 27, 1996, in Somers Point, New Jersey) is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer whose music defies easy categorization. Raised in Linwood, he started with classical piano before moving to guitar, developing a distinctive style that blends bedroom pop, lo‑fi R&B, indie rock, and soft psychedelia with emotional depth and playful guitar work.

His debut album, Two Star & the Dream Police (2024), received critical acclaim for its dreamy guitar motifs, funk‑infused rhythms, and emotional intensity. Songs like “How Many Miles,” “Are You Looking Up,” and “Breakthespell” highlight his ability to craft music that feels both intimate and unsettled at the same time.

Mk.gee has also become a sought‑after collaborator. He co‑produced and co‑wrote Justin Bieber’s 2025 single “Daises,” where his signature guitar tone adds an experimental pop edge. He also contributed alongside his close collaborator Dijon to Bieber’s surprise album Swag. On Bon Iver’s Sable, Fable (2025), Mk.gee co‑wrote the track “From,” in a collaboration Justin Vernon described as creatively inspiring.

In addition, he has worked with artists like Dijon, Omar Apollo, Kacy Hill, Fred Again, and Jonah Yano, contributing production, songwriting, and his unmistakable guitar style. Fans often highlight recent collaborations like “Homerun 2021” with Jonah Yano and the project “T00STEP” with SEES00000.

Live, Mk.gee delivers atmospheric yet energetic shows that feel like an extension of his musical world—full of lights, dynamics, and unexpected transitions. His sold‑out 2024–25 concerts, including performances at Asbury Park’s Stone Pony and Governors Ball, were praised for transforming his intimate recordings into vibrant, immersive experiences.
