Mcubamba Robbah is a Kenyan artist born in 1986 in Kisii. He mostly sings in his local dialect, Gusii. His songs are energetic with Afro-beat styles. Mcubamba has managed to mix tradition with modernity making his songs to be enjoyed by both the young and old audience. Young people would enjoy the fast beats and his energetic and fun voice while the old would appreciate his choice of words and themes which mostly touch on Kisii traditional culture.
Mcubamba's first album "Ekio Nkiekio" named after his hit song was released digitally in May 2023. This album also contains other hit songs that quickly brought him to fame such as "Imabu Rende" and "Tancherere".
