Jenny Tseng, formerly known as Zhen Shushi, also known as Zhen Yiting, was born in Macau on February 20, 1953. Her ancestral home is Jiangmen, Guangdong. She is a Chinese pop singer, actress, and show host.
In 1971, he officially debuted in Taiwan with his first solo album "Heart Lake" and began his singing career. From 1977 to 1982, he was elected as one of the top ten Far East Star Awards. In 1978, he released his first Cantonese album "Struggle" in Hong Kong, opening the Hong Kong record market. From 1978 to 1986, he won the Hong Kong Top Ten Chinese Golden Melody Awards 6 times for his works such as "Talking Tomorrow Today", "Spring Rain Scimitar", "Pearl of the Orient", "Always Hello in the World", "Lonely Again" and "Flowers on the Sea". In 1981, he founded Golden Note Records in Hong Kong; in the same year, he became the second female singer after Teresa Teng to win the Taiwan TV Golden Bell Award for Best Female Singer. In 1983, together with Luo Wen launched the TV soundtrack of "The Legend of the Condor Heroes". In 1984, she won the Most Popular Female Singer Award at the Top Ten Golden Songs Awards Ceremony, becoming the first female singer in Hong Kong to win this award. In 1991, he participated in the CCTV Spring Festival Gala singing "Lu Binghua".
In 2010, he was selected into the "30 Years Classic Selection" of the Global Chinese Music Hall Chinese Golden Melody Award, ranking sixth in the total ranking of singers in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan (the fourth in Taiwan and the third in Hong Kong). In 2011, he was awarded the Top Ten Chinese Golden Songs and Golden Needles, the highest honor in the Hong Kong music scene. From 2010 to 2013, he held the Show Farewell World Tour, officially bidding farewell to his solo concert career.
