S.i.K was founded in June 1991 by Andi, Fraggle, Jürgen and Manu and often deals with everyday and political issues. The name S.i.K. originally stood for "Sex im Kaugummiautomat"(engl. "sex in the chewing gum machine"). Currently, however, the letters have no meaning and are interpreted differently by many people.
