Isah (Kaleb Isaac Ghebreiesus, born July 16, 1999, in Stavanger) is one of Norway’s most distinctive voices in modern R&B and hip‑hop. He blends soft, melodic vocals with emotional depth, creating songs that are both catchy and intimate.

He broke through in 2019 with the hit “Hallo” alongside Dutty Dior, and the same year he gained wider recognition through his collaboration with Karpe on the EP SAS PLUS / SAS PUSSY. The project highlighted his strength as a melodic counterpoint to rap and laid the foundation for further success with tracks like “Rose” and “Gangster Romanse.”

In 2023, he released his debut album Instrument, which won the Spellemann Award for R&B/Soul and solidified his status as one of Norway’s leading urban artists. His music is characterized by atmospheric beats, heartfelt lyrics, and a vocal delivery that shifts between vulnerability and confidence—an expression that makes his live performances both intimate and full of energy.
