Daniel Hope (born August 17, 1973 in Durban, South Africa) is an Irish-German violinist who grew up in England. He became known through his collaboration with Yehudi Menuhin and as a member of the Beaux Arts Trio, but also as the initiator of musical projects, a presenter on television and radio programs, and the author of several books. He has been the director of the Zurich Chamber Orchestra since 2016.
