NEVERMIND is an ensemble of four young musicians and friends, whose love for early music and the influence of jazz and traditional music have led them to come together to form an ensemble whose virtuosity is matched only by ardor. and the love of beautiful music… For their first album, the Neverminds tackle the treasures of the Baroque and two totally unknown French composers.
The first, Jean-Baptiste Quentin, "violin top" at the Royal Academy of Music (the Paris Opera), is a regular at Parisian salons in which he meets Rameau in particular. The second, Louis-Gabriel Guillemain, studied in Italy then joined the court of Versailles. Sometimes whimsical and often very complex with Guillemain, always clear and classic with Quentin, their writing nevertheless has one thing in common: the dominance of the Italian style.
